When we started Becerra's in 2012, to continue the legacy started in 1963 by my maternal grandparents, we developed our first salsa to offer a better product than what is available on the big box grocery store shelves. Our jalapeno salsa was our first, followed by our Verde, then by our homestyle serrano salsa. We do not outsource the production of our salsas; we make them ourselves.
